About us:
Superior Power Equipment Sales and Service was founded in 2004 to meet the growing need for affordable, reliable lawn mower, small engine, and power equipment repair in Moberly, Clark, Sturgeon, Hallsville, Centralia, Harrisburg, Columbia, and the surrounding areas.

I’m Eli Burkholder, owner of Superior Power Equipment. Early on, I recognized a demand for a locally owned and operated shop that provides knowledgeable, professional, and customer-focused service for chainsaws, lawn mowers, trimmers, pressure washers, and tillers.

I grew up in a small engine repair shop, where I gained hands-on experience under the guidance of my father, who has been servicing power equipment for over 50 years, dating back to around 1970. That foundation shaped both my skills and my commitment to doing the job right.

I began working on small engines myself in the mid-1990s as a teenager and have been involved in power equipment service and repair ever since. Today, I am certified as a Honda General Purpose Engines dealer and warranty technician, a Kohler Expert Dealer/Technician, and a Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technician.

In addition, we serve as a warranty center for a wide range of brands and components, including Hydro-Gear and Tuff Torq drive systems, MTD equipment, and select Husqvarna consumer products.

We continue to strive to provide the highest level of service to our customers—the backbone of our business. When you trust your equipment to us, you can expect honest work, dependable results, and service you can count on.
